1 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup corn syrup
4 beaten eggs
2 1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
10 slices 1 1/2 thick French bread
3 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 min or until mixture is bubbly. Pour syrup evenly into a lightly greased 13 x 9 in baking dish. Arrange the bread slices over syrup. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and salt. Mix well; gradually pour over the bread slices. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. When ready to bake, combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over soaked bread. Drizzle with remaining butter.
