1 cups all purpose flour sifted before measuring
1 tsp salt
3 tbls sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 or 2 slightly beaten whole eggs
3 tbls melted butter
1 to 1 cups milk

Sift together flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Combine eggs, butter, and milk.
Mix the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Mixture should be lumpy.
Cook over medium heat on a griddle or griddle pan.
Flip the pancakes only once. Once most of the bubbles have popped.
Milk in this recipe can be substituted for buttermilk or eggnog.
