Mozzarella Sticks Recipe

8 oz mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
1 tbls water
1 cup bread crumbs
2 tsp Italian seasoning
tsp garlic powder
1/8 cup flour
4 tsp butter
1 cup hot pizza sauce

Cut cheese into sticks, set aside.
In a shallow bowl, beat eggs and water.
In another bowl combine bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Coat cheese sticks with flour, then egg mixture, then bread crumbs. Repeat egg and bread crumb coatings.
Place coated sticks on a plate in a single layer.
Cover with foil and chill 2 to 3 hours.
Heat oven to 400 Degrees.
Make sure cheese sticks are very cold and oven is heated before baking.
Place cheese sticks on a foil lined baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp.
