Put spare ribs (country style) in a roaster salt and pepper. Add a little water and cook til tender. Drain off the juice and add:

Mix in a sauce pan and heat:
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 T. cornstarch
2 t. dry mustard
2/3 c. vinegar
1 c. crushed pineapple, untrained
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 T. soy sauce
1 c. sugar
pinch garlic powder
1 t. ginger
salt and pepper to taste

Heat sauce and then pour it over the ribs. Cook slowly in oven; probably 30-45 minutes. Makes a lot of sauce, for this amount I usually use abort 20 country style ribs.
