1 cup Oatmeal 1 cup Milk 1/2 cup Honey 6-7 cups Flour 1/4 cup Shortening 1 cup Boiling Water 2 Pkg Yeast dissolve in 1/2 cup warm water 2 tsp Salt
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and shortening add honey, salt , milk, add to dissolve yeast , add flour and knead. rise covered until double, punch down shape into 2 loaves place in greased bread pans. Let rise covered 1/2 hour or until double. Bake @ 325ºF for 50-60 minutes.
