2 cups of Boiling Water
2 pkgs. ( 4 servings each) Jello Brand Gelatin ( your choice; strawberry, orange, raspberry flavor)
3 slices (3/4 in each) pound cake, cut into 24 cubes (I use Sara Lee) keep on hand in freezer for an anytime dessert.
1 pkg ( 8oz) cream cheese; softened
1 cup powered sugar
1 cup thawed Cool Whip Topping
1 tsp. grated lemon peel

Directions:
Directions:
Place liners in 24 miniature muffin pan cups. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl for 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Place 1 cake cube into each muffin cup; pour gelatin over cake to fill cup. Refrigerate for 2 hrs or until set.
Beat cream cheese in a small bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add sugar; beating until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping and lemon peel until well blended.
FILL pastry bag fitted with star tip with cream cheese mixture (or snip a resealable bag to create your own). Pipe decorative dollop of cream cheese mixture on top of ea trifle.
MAKES 12 servings 2 each.

This is pretty quick to prepare and most of the ingredients are found on hand at our house. Your guest will think you slaved in the kitchen. (Of course that can be our secret)
