Microwave Cream Pie Recipe

2 c. milk
1/4 c. cornstarch
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
dash of salt
6 Tbsp. of cocoa or 3/4 c. of coconut
3 beaten eggs yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter

Bake Pie shell and let cool.
Measure out all ingredients ahead of time because you need to work fast.
Heat milk for 3 minutes on high,
Add cornstarch, sugar, salt, and coco or (coconut)
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring once.
Add 3 beaten egg yolks- (remove small amount of hot mixture and mix first with the yolks then add back)
Cook for 1 more minute
Add Vanilla, and butter, Stir Well
Pour into baked pie shell. Top

4 or 5 egg whites and 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, beaten stiff, Add 8 Tbsp. of sugar gradually (one tablespoon at a time) and finally 1/2 tsp. vanilla

For coconut add 1 cup coconut
Bake 375 until desired brownness
