1 1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup Quaker corn meal
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter flavor crisco melted in microwave
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400. Spray with Pam an 8 or 9 inch pan. Combine dry ingredients. Stir in milk, oil and egg, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with soup or chili
