2 lbs beef stew
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon salt
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp marjoram
1 10oz pkg frozen corn
1 16oz can chopped peeled tomatoes
1 1/2 cup cubed, potatoes
1 10oz pkg frozen green beans
1 10oz pkg sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery if desired
1/2 cup chopped onion

Directions:
Directions:
In a large Dutch oven brown stew meat,in 4 Tablespoons of hot oil. Drain oil off of meat. In a large pot combine meat, bay leaves, salt , oregano, marjoram, pepper and 8 cups water. Bring to boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Skim off any fat once cooled. Stir in corn, tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, carrots, celery and onion. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Discard bay leaves and serve.
