1 qt. apples, peeled and sliced
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. lemon juice
cinnamon to taste (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a saucepan and cook until apples are tender, about 20 minutes. Use an electric mixer or blender, depending on how chunky you want it, and mix until smooth. Put in an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator.
