1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 5 T. water 1/4 t. salt milk chocolate chips, melted
Boil butter, sugar, water and salt to 300º, stirring constantly when beginning to boil. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet. When lukewarm, cover with melted chocolate, enough to make an even, thin layer. When chocolate has cooled and lost its sheen, break into bite-sized pieces.
