8 - 10 red or gold potatoes
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup sweet pickles
1 large white onion chopped
1 Tablespoon mustard
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup sweet pickle juice
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash potatoes, leave skin on and cut in half. Boil until tender, drain and let cool. Cut potatoes in bite size pieces. Chop onion and pour over potatoes. Mix the dressing ingredients and toss lightly. Chill and serve.

The best pickles to use is sweet canned pickles and the juice. Grandma Anne always made the best potato salad and the secret was her home canned pickles.
