1 1/2 C Flour
1 C Sugar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp ground Allspice
1/2 tsp ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground Cloves
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 C Butter, melted and cooled
1 lg Egg
1/4 C Molasses
3/4 C Old-fashioned Oats

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, sugar, soda, allspice, nutmeg, cloves and salt. Add butter, egg and molasses; mix well. Stir in oats. Drop dough by tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of a glass that has been moistened with water and dipped in sugar. Bake 8 to 10 min. in 375 oven. To make ahead, form dough into a roll, wrap in parchment paper and freeze. To cook, slice frozen dough into 1/4 inch thick rounds and bake 13 min.
