1 head lettuce
1 medium onion chopped
1 Green Pepper
3 Stalks Celery chopped
1/2 package frozen peas
6 slices bacon
1/4 lb. cheddar cheese
1 C. mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
Break lettuce into large bowl or 9x13 pan. Layer onion,pepper and celery. Cook peas, drain and cool. place over celery. Fry and crumble bacon. Sprinkle over peas. Grate cheese and sprinkle over bacon. Spread mayonnaise evenly over all. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over top. Cover tightly and refrigerate over night.
