Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. Fresh Spinach (baby)
1 pt. Fresh Strawberries, sliced
1/3 c. Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Minced Onion
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 c. Olive Oil
1/4c. Red Wine Vinegar
2tbsps. Sesame Seeds, toasted
1tsp Poppy Seeds
1/2 c. Glazed Almonds ( Instructions Below)

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange spinach and strawberries in a salad bowl. Combine sugar, onion, paprika and Worcestershire sauce in a blender or food processor. With machine running, add the oil and vinegar in a slow, steady stream until thoroughly mixed and thickened. Stir seeds in by hand. Drizzle dressing over spinach and strawberries. Add glazed almonds and toss gently. Serve immediately.
Glazed Almonds: Place 1/2 c. almonds and 1/4c. sugar in a Teflon pan. PLACE SUGAR IN PAN FIRST THEN TOP WITH ALMONDS.
Place on medium heat until sugar starts to melt. DO NOT STIR UNTIL YOU SEE THE SUGAR MELTING TO A CLEAR LIQUID. YOU NEED TO BE WATCHING THE PAN CAREFULLY BECAUSE THE SUGAR AND ALMONDS WILL BURN VERY QUICKLY. Stir until almonds are slightly brown and coated with sugar. Pour mixture on a piece of tin foil. Let cool then crush the almond mixture with your hands and sprinkle on top of salad.

Personal Notes:
This salad is one of the Lutes family favorites. My three girls are always asking for it to be served at our Sunday family meals. Even my two granddaughters, Chloe and Grace like it.
