1 1/4 cup Boiling Water
1 cup Oats Uncooked
1/2 cup Marg. Soft
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 1/2 cup Flour
1 tsp Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 cup melted butter
1//2 cup firmly-packed Brown Sugar
3 tbsp light cream
1/2 cup Chopped Nuts
3/4 cups Coconut

Pour water over oats; cover let stand 20 min. Beat butter until creamy; beat in sugar, lend in vanilla, soda, salt, and spices. add oats to creamed mixture, blend well. Bake in 9" greased in floured pan at 350F, for 50 -55 minutes.

For Frosting:
Combine melted butter, brown sugar, cream, nutmeats and coconut. Spread over cake broil until bubbly
