3/4 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1- 10 oz. jar preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients and mix. Add to butter mixture and mix well. Place 1/2 of oat mixture into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan; spread with preserves to within 1/4 inch of edge. Sprinkle with remaining oat mixture.

Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes
