1/2 cup butter
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teas. vanilla
3 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil and boil for two minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over confectioners sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Pour into an 8x8-inch pan. Chill until firm and cut into squares. I usually pour into a 9x13 pan and the pieces are not so thick and it goes further.

This was in Druscilla Ray's cooking column in the Herald-Citizen news paper several years ago. I made it and our grandchildren really liked it. So it is in a candy dish every year at Christmas. Mark 10:14-16
