Ingredients:
lemon (small sized)
bamboo skewers
glass of cold water
nonfat, plain croutons (burn the best)
lime
maraschino cherries
lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Soak the blunt end of the bamboo skewers in cold water for at least 30 minutes (so they don't catch on fire). Attach a crouton to the blunt end of the skewer. Cut the lemon in half and remove the lemon flesh. Punch the sharp end of the skewer through the lemon, and slide up the skewer until the crouton is sitting in the bowl of the lemon. Cut the lime into wedges and slide up the skewer to sit under the lemon. Next slide a maraschino cherry under the lime. Drizzle a teaspoon of lemon extract on the crouton, to coat. Light the crouton on fire.

Long bamboo skewer should be long enough to place into tall individual serving glasses. Pre-measure skewers so the fruit portion and flame will sit just above the lip of the glass.

Flaming torches can also float in a punch bowl. Eliminate the skewers and float lemons with croutons across the bowl. Once flame has burned out, place maraschino cherry in the center of the lemon, for appearance. Choose lemons for symmetry and size. Pre-test their "float-ability" and trim as needed to stay upright and level.
