5 lb. flour
3 lb. Crisco Butter Flavor
1 c. white corn syrup
2 T. salt
3 c. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt well. With an electric mixer, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in corn syrup and water. Divide dough into fist-sized balls. Wrap in foil, then place in individual bags, then freeze in larger resealable bags. Remove one ball for each crust you need. Let thaw about 1 hour at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator before rolling out. Dough will be soft and you can refreeze unused dough.

21-22 single pie crusts

Personal Notes:
Hands work better than a mixer. I usually only use 2 - 2 1/2 cups of water. Go by how the dough feels. It seems that if I use 3 cups of water, my dough gets too sticky to roll into balls.
