1 cup butter or shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar

Sprinkle mix: 2 tablespoons each cinnamon & sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Cover the mixing bowl with a plate and place in the refrigerator for one hour. After 1 hour, preheat oven 400. Mix sugar and cinnamon on a small plate. Roll balls of cookie dough about the size of a walnut. Roll ball in sugar/cinnamon mix. Place on cookie sheet. Bake for at least 10 minutes.or bottom edges are brown.
