24 each large shrimp, uncooked, peeled, deveined
24 each whole water chestnuts, drained
12 slices bacon, sliced in half lengthwise

HORSERADISH SAUCE:
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
3 - 4 T. prepared horseradish
1 T. fresh lemon juice
1 T. hot sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Stack one shrimp and one water chestnut together and wrap with one strip of bacon. Secure with a tooth pic. Repeat until all are wrapped. Place directly on the grill and cook until bacon is done. Brush with horseradish sauce, being careful not to overcook the shrimp.

To Broil: Melt 1/2 stick of butter in a large skillet and cook bacon wrapped shrimp until bacon is brown and crispy, approximately 3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside. Preheat boiler and brush bacon with horseradish sauce. Broil until golden brown. Serve warm.

To Make Horseradish Sauce: Bring sour cream to room temperature. Then, place all sauce ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well. Season. Brush sauce over bacon wrapped shrimp and water chestnuts.
