3 lbs lean stew meat
3 lbs Irish potatoes
2 stalks celery
2 large carrots
1 lb pearl onions
1 large can crushed tomatoes
2 tsp salt
1 T coarse ground black pepper
2 cloves chopped garlic

Directions:
Directions:
In a large soup or stew pot combine stew meat, and 32oz water with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and cook on low until meat gets fork tender. Next quarter potatoes, cut celery into Ĺ inch pieces, and carrots into 1Ē pieces. Add all of the remaining ingredients and cook on low heat until vegetables are tender. Serve with coleslaw and cornbread. Feeds about 8 hungry people on a cold winter night. This was one of Momís favorite recipes.
