1lb Italian ground sausage
1C Italian flavored bread crumbs
1tsp garlic powder
C finely chopped green onions
1/3 C fresh parmesan cheese
2/3 C chicken broth
24 large white button mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Remove stems from mushrooms and chop up the stems. Be careful to keep the mushroom cap intact. Put chopped stems, sausage and garlic powder in large skillet and brown sausage and mixture well. Drain the oil from this mixture, place in mixing bowl, add bread crumbs, green onions, parmesan cheese and chicken broth. Stir mixture together well, and spoon into mushroom caps. Place stuffed caps onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve as appetizer or brunch food. Variation: serve with crushed red pepper sprinkled on top. Serves 6 to 8.
