1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
3/4 c molasses
11/4 lard
2 eggs beaten
1 c sour milk
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 heaping tsp baking powder
1 heaping tsp soda
6 c flour (more if needed)

Directions:

Bake 375 for 10-12 minutes
1. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and molasses.
2. Sift dry ingredients and add to first mixture alternately with sour milk. Roll out dough, cut and bake.
