2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup all-purpose or whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350
2. Heat chocolate and shortening in saucepan
3.Mix in sugar eggs and vanilla.
4. Spread in greased pan
5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, cool
6. Frost with 1/2 recipe glossy chocolate frosting.
7. cut/serve.
