Ingredients:  
3 egg whites at room temp.;
1 c sugar;
1/2 tsp baking powder;
pinch salt;
1 tsp vanilla;
1 c finely chopped pecans;
16 Ritz crackers crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Beat whites till foamy. Add baking powder and beat till stiff. Add sugar a little at a time. Add vanilla and salt. Fold in nut meats and crackers. Pour into well greased 9" pie pan. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool. Place cool whip or whipping cream on top. Chill for 3-4 hours.
