1/2 c shortening
1/2 c butter
3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c wht sugar
2 eggs
2 c oatmeal
1 tsp baking powder
2 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 c gum drops
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, butter, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs
Add dry ingredients oatmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, vanilla to the creamed mixture
Stir well and then stir in gum drops
Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet
Bake at 375 for approx 10 min.
