1/2 c chopped onion
2 tsp. butter
2 cans evaporated milk
2 cans cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1 c frozen corn or 1 can corn
1 can cream corn
1 tsp. creole seasoning or baba gumps ha ha
2 lbs shrimp (shelled and deveined)
1 pkg cream cheese cubed
1 1/2 c shredded hash brown potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and butter in pot until tender. Add milk, soup, corn, seasoning, cream cheese, hash browns. Let cook for 1 hr. Saute shrimp in butter in a skillet, add to chowder and let cook for another 1/2 hr.

You can also make this in a crock pot and let cook for 3 hrs. add shrimp and cream cheese after 3 hrs and let cook for another 1/2 hr.
I add more milk if not enough, then more hash browns to thicken it up.
