1 cup butter 1 - 8 oz pkg creamed cheese 2 cup flour 1/2-1 cup flavored preserves(not jelly) 1 beaten egg sifted powdered sugar
Beat butter and cream cheese. Blend in flour and divide dough in half. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill several hours. Roll dough out onto floured ( I use powdered sugar) surface 1/4 in thick. Cut out with round cutter. Place 1/2 tsp preserves on center. Fold circle in half and crimp edges with fork to seal. Brush tops with beaten egg. Dust with powdered sugar and bake on ungreased cookie sheet.
