4# stew beef
1 1#-14-oz. can stued tomatoes
2 medium onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups water
1 cup beer (don't waste the rest of it)
1 tsp. chili powder
3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 C. catsup
1/2 C. vinegar
2 T. Worchestshire
2 T. sugar
Dash of hot pepper sauce.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in large, heavy pot. Simmer uncovered 5-6 hours or until beef falls in shreds.
Mixture should be thick.
Spoon unto toasted, split hamburger buns.

This makes a lot of bar-b-que. It freezes really well, so use enough for one meal and pack remaining meat in meal size containers and freeze for a quick meal later on.
