50 caramels
1 package German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. evaporated milk (divided)
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. pecans (or other nuts)
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler. While melting, combine cake mix, remaining evaporated milk, butter and nuts. Mix until batter holds together. Press 1/2 of mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Pour melted caramels over top, and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel layer. Drop reserved batter in small dabs over top. Bake at 350 for 18 minutes. When cool, cut into 48 pieces.
