3 T. butter,room temperature
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
1 c. bran cereal
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together butter and molasses. Add egg; beat well. Add bran cereal and buttermilk; let stand for 5 min. Sift flour,baking powder, soda and salt into a med. mixing bowl. Add wet mixture to flour mixture and stir until just moistened. Stir in raisins. Fill greased muffin cups about 2/3 full; bake at 400 degrees for about 25 min.
