1 cup chopped onion
1 to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 can (16 oz.) chili without beans
16 oz. grated process American cheese (Velveeta)
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in a large skillet; add onion and cook until onion is tender but not browned. Pour off excess fat. Add cumin, chili powder, chili, and cheese. Cook stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
Taste and add salt as needed. Serve in slow cooker or chafing dish with tortilla chips or crackers.
