2 eggs
1/2 c. of milk
1 T. of vanilla
3 T all purpose flour
3 T butter
6 slices of thick sliced French bread
1 T powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs in large shallow bowl. Add milk, vanilla and flour to eggs. Beat the mixture with electric mixer. Be sure flour is all combined.
Heat a large skillet on medium heat. When surface is hot, add a Tbsp. of butter.
Dip the bread one slice at a time into the batter, making sure to coat each side well. Drop bread onto skillet and cook 2 to 3 minutes a side, or until surface is golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with butter and syrup.
