1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 - 1 medium yellow onion, diced
2 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp butter
2 c milk
1 lg can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (not paste)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion & garlic in a little butter. Add the rest of the butter & the flour & brown it a bit. Then add the milk and mix well with browned flour & butter to make a white sauce. Add the tomatoes and tomato sauce & heat through and voila...way better than Campbell's tomato soup!

Super easy & fast & very yummy. If you don't like the tomato &/or onion chunks, you can blend it for a smooth soup.
