Ingredients:  
1 stick of butter - melt in bottom of deep dish 9 X 9 pan
Mix:
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Add 3/4 cup milk to dry mixture to form batter.
Pour batter over melted butter in pan. Do not mix.
Pour 1 can pitted sour cherry not drained over batter. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar.
