2-1/2 cup flour
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon grated lemon peel
1 Tablespoon juice
1-1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
tsp salt

Glaze:
2-1/2 c powdered sugar
cup fresh lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. Beat medium speed 2 minutes sugar and butter. Low speed add eggs, lemon peel and lemon juice. Add dry mix slowly until well mixed. Drop dough by rounded tsp 2 apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes. Frost warm cookies w/glaze mix. Sprinkle with grated lemon peel. (Makes 5 dozen)
