1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups sifted flour

4 eggs
2 cups
sugar
4 tbsp flour
5 tbsp lemon juice


Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients together, press into a 9x12 pyrex dish. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes

Beat 4 eggs,sugar, flour, lemon juice together. Pour over crust and bake 20-25 mins more. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, then cool and cut into squares.

This serves 12 depending on who's eating! They never last long around the Harper house. This is an old southern recipe that everyone loves and is great as a light dessert with served coffee after a big meal.
