1 stick of butter or margarine
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp oregano
pinch of basil (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter and add minced garlic. Mix in well with fork and add oregano. Refrigerate for 1 hr to allow the flavors to blend.

I use this butter for my garlic bread (a standard side dish). This butter also goes with fish, pasta, steak, potatoes, etc. It can be refrigerated or frozen in an air tight container for later use.
