1/2 cup cocoa
2/3 cup shortening
2 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, cocoa and vanilla. Blend well. Blend flour, baking powder and salt and add to mixture. Put in 9 x 13 greased pan. Cool and frost with peppermint icing (see recipe).

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min or until done

Frost bars and refrigerate. Melt 1/3 cup chocolate chips adn 1 tbsp butter. Drizzle over cold frosted bars.
