Ingredients:
1 Whole cut up chicken, bone in
1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. Trader Joe's Soyaki sauce, or the Island Soyaki
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Pour the dry rice into an ungreased 9x13x2 in. pan. Lay chicken pieces on top of rice so it all fits in the pan like a puzzle (if it doesn't all fit, I usually reserve one or two pieces for the freezer). Mix the soyaki sauce and water in a measuring cup so the liquid equals exactly 2 cups (you can play with each proportion to taste). Pour the mixture over the top of the chicken and rice. Cover very tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 mins. to 1 hour. At about 45 mins. I check to make sure the chicken is done and cook longer accordingly. Be sure to recover the chicken if you put it back in so the pieces stay moist.
