Directions:
Directions:
Arrange milk, beaten eggs, flour, and cracker crumbs in dishes on the counter. Add salt and pepper and whatever other seasonings that you desire. Cut meat into serving-size pieces. Dip meat pcs. in milk, then dip in flour, then dip into eggs and finally roll in cracker crumbs. Brown in a skillet with a small amount of melted shortening. When browned on both sides, place in baking pan with a very small amount of water in the bottom. Cover and bake in a slow oven (325) for about 1 hr.-1 1/2 hr. or until tender.

This recipe was given to me by Aunt Juanita. Sorry that I could not be more precise about the ingredients. It was one of those "verbal" recipes. The steak that I used was what the butcher labeled as "minute steak". I am not sure what the cut is called in the grocery store.
