7 C unsifted flour
1/4 C sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. yeast
2 C warm water
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp. water
sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixer, mix 2 cups flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add 2 cups water and margarine. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add 1 cup flour. Beat 2 minutes on high speed. Stir in 4 cups flour. Knead 5 minutes. Rise 40 minutes. Shape. Rest 5 minutes. Beat the egg yolk and 1 Tbsp. water together and brush over pretzels as a glaze. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake in convection oven 350 F or standard oven 375 F for 15 minutes.

Who doesn't love soft pretzels? The great thing about them is that you can make them any shape you want! I love eating them with melted butter, strawberry jam, or garlic butter.
