4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp.vanilla
4 c. rolled oats
4 eggs

Shortening mixture:
1 c. shortening
1 c. butter
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar

1 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour mixture and set aside. Blend both sugars with shortening and margarine blend with eggs. Fold in rolled oats, chocolate chips, and pecans. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes.

I use green and red striped white chocolate chips along with the dark chocolate chips to give them a more festive look.
