16 slices French bread or Texas toast(about 1-1/2 inches thick
1 cup heavy cream
4 eggs
2 Tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla

mix together cream eggs and sugar and vanilla (mixture should be thick) Dip bread slices coating both sides generously.Brown on hot grill. Serve with sliced bananas and strawberries, or fresh peaches or any fresh fruit in season, and whipped cream.

This is so easy and looks so pretty on the plate. Kids love it with all the fresh fruit and whipped cream. It is also wonderful with peanut butter and maple syrup.
