1/2 C. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. almond extract
1/4 C. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
10 oz. can refrigerated flaky biscuits (e.g., Pillsbury Golden Layers)
3 oz. pkg cream cheese, cut into 10 cubes

Preheat oven to 375. In small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and almond extract. In another small bowl, combine melted butter and vanilla. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; press or roll each to 3" circle. Dip each cheese cube in butter mixture, then in sugar mixture; place on center of each circle. Fold dough over cheese, covering completely; seal well, shaping into balls. Dip each filled biscuit in butter mixture, then in sugar mixture. Place seam-side-down in ungreased muffin cup. Bake at 375 for 12-18 min. or until golden brown. Remove immediately from pan. Best if served warm.
