2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, 1 Tsp. soda, 1 cup water, 1 stick margarine, 1/2 cup butter milk 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 Tbsp. cocoa
Icing: 1 stick margarine, 6 tbsp. milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 3 tbsp. cocoa, 1 lb. powdered sugar

Sift together flour and sugar. Melt margarine with cocoa and water. Bring to a boil and pour over sugar/flour mixture. In separate bowl beat egg into buttermilk and add soda. Add to above mixture. Pour into cookie sheet pan. Use Pam. Bake@400 for 20 minutes

Icing:
Place margarine ,cocoa and milk in saucepan. bring to light boil. do not scorch. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla .Mix well. May use 1 cup nuts in icing if preferred.
