2 cups sugar
2 cups whole almonds
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy pot over low heat. Add sugar and stir until blended. Increase temperature to medium and stir with wooden spoon until candy reaches temperature of 310 degrees on a candy thermometer (about 30 minutes).

To prevent burns, use an Orca or heavy glove to pour candy evenly into a jelly roll pan. Cool 3-5 minutes. Sprinkle 1-1/2 to 2 cups of chocolate chips over the top of the candy.

When cooled, break candy into pieces. Enjoy!
