1/2 cup butterscotch pieces 1/4 cup butter or margarine 3/4 cup flour 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 egg 1 cup miniature marshmallows 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Melt butterscotch pieces and butter in 3 quart heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, cool to lukewarm. Add to butterscotch mixture: flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla & egg; mix well. Fold in marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts just until combined. Bake in greased 9 inch square pan.
